According to Sri. N Sreekumar, Member, PRAYAS ENERGY GROUP, PUNE, “Transparent actions with consumer participation” is essential to upgrade the services in the Electricity sector in Kerala to the world’s best. Mr. Sreekumar was speaking in the seminar on “Electricity Rules and Protection of Consumer Interests” conducted by FEEC, Kozhikode, in connection with their tenth anniversary. The seminar was presented before a crowded audience from various segments of society in the New Nalanda Auditorium Kozhikode which was inaugurated by Smt. Beena Philip, Hon. Mayor of Kozhikode Corporation on 20th December 2022.
Sri B Pradeep, Member, Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission who participated in the seminar informed that actions are being taken to safeguard the interests of Consumers by making necessary changes in Supply Code Regulations and making the actions of the Consumer Grievances forum more efficient.
