GO ELECTRIC CAMPAIGN

The state-level Capacity Building Seminar in connection with the GO-ELECTRIC campaign programme being undertaken by InSDES on behalf of the Energy Management Centre, Government of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister for Law & Industries Sri P Rajeev on 1^st Dec. 2021 in an online meeting. In the inaugural speech, the minister stressed the importance of reducing dependability on fossil fuels and the need to increase the use of renewable sources for our energy requirements. The Director of Energy Management Centre, Sri Harikumar presented the report and the Presidential Address was delivered by Sri MG Sureshkumar, Chair Person of InDES. Earlier Sri KA Sivadasan Registrar of InSDES welcomed the participants and dignitaries present in the meeting. Followed by the Inaugural session the Training Session for Trainers was led by various Technocrats of EMC. During the session, the various points to be stressed during the campaign programme were introduced to the participants.  More than 200 participants attended the session online besides the viewers who watched the programme which was streamed live on Facebook.
